Isle of Man Christmas Markets Countdown!

The Isle of Man is home to a whole host of local creatives who create truly special gifts for Christmas Markets across our Manx towns and villages. Supporting local is at the forefront of each Christmas Market, and with the festive period approaching LoveIOM has compiled a list of local food, craft and artisan markets taking place this Christmas.
Tynwald Mills Christmas Market – St Johns
From Saturday 20th November
Weekly artisan produce and crafts markets will start at Tynwald Mills from 20th November, 10am-5pm. With a focus on supporting local, Tynwald Mills has guaranteed all products that are sold at the market are grown, made or created in the Isle of Man.

Milntown Estates Christmas market – Ramsey
Saturday 20th November
Take a trip north to Milntown Estates on Saturday 20th November from 11am-3pm for their 2021 Christmas market. Visit a range of stalls including cakes, handmade beauty gifts, Christmas crafts and art products. Local food vans will be there on the day, as well as Christmas music and Milntown’s Christmas Grotto and Elves Workshop.

Hospice Christmas Fair 2021, Santon
Sunday 21st November
Join Hospice Isle of Man as their annual Christmas fair returns on Sunday 21st November. Mount Murray Golf Club will host the fair, which will include over 40 stalls selling crafts, confectionary and gifts. There will also be plenty of festive entertainment on offer for all the family to enjoy – including Santa’s Grotto!
Entry to the fair is free, however donations for the Hospice will be welcome on the door.

Peel Christmas Market – Peel
Saturday 27th November
Next Saturday, Peel will be hosting its Christmas Markets from 2pm on the 27th November. The market will be host to a range of local traders and crafters and there will be plenty of entertainment including live music, a Christmas light switch-on and a visit from Father Christmas himself!

Laxey Village Christmas Market – Laxey
Saturday 27th & Sunday 28th November
Hosted at The Institute, Laxey Christmas Market is back once again. The festive event will include crafted Christmas cards, gifts and other local produce as well as a café full with homemade cakes and of course there will be a visit from Santa! The market will be taking place over both days, 10am-4pm.
The Laxey Glen Café and Restaurant are also hosting a market the same weekend to add to the festive feeling throughout the village.

The Dog’s Nollick #2 Market – Peel
26th -28th November and 10th -12th, 17th-19th December
The Black Dog Pizza Oven are once again hosting their well-known and cosy ‘The Dog’s Nollick’ #2 on Peel Harbourside. The pop-up includes festive markets, toasty fires and acoustic music in a family friendly setting. You just need to remember to bring a jumper!

Douglas Christmas Market – Douglas
Friday 26th & Saturday 27th November
Hosted in Villiers square on November 26th 12pm – 10pm and November 27th 10am-10pm, the Douglas Christmas Market will include a range of local produce and craft stalls and other Christmas festivities including carol singing.

Erin Arts Centre Christmas Market – Port Erin
Saturday 4th December
Taking place on the 4th December from 11am – 4:30pm, the Erin Arts Centre Christmas market forms part of this years ‘Port Erin’s Countdown to Christmas’ which is set to provide a selection of free entertainment across the village.
There will be hand-crafted gifts across a mix of local stalls, mince pies and a craft workshop for the little ones! A raffle will take place, with prizes supplied by local businesses and stallholders.

Finders Keepers – The Ultimate Winter Made Takeover - Peel
Sunday 5th December
Taking place at Isle Contemporary, The Old Gasworks, Peel, on December 5th 10am-4pm, the market has been dubbed an Indie Art Market and winter shopping fling! Showcasing the Island’s hand makers, including potters and ceramicists - all selling direct to the public from their market stalls.
The event attracts collectors, gallery owners, enthusiasts, Christmas shoppers and the general public alike, to meet and talk to the makers selling all their wares!

Castletown Balley Cashtal Markets
Saturday 20th November and Saturday 4th December
Head down to Castletown market square on the 20th November 10am – 4pm and 4th December 1:30pm until 8pm, to enjoy a vast array of local and varied market stalls, showcasing a mix of local artisans and craft makers goods.

The Sugarloaf Christmas Market – Port St Mary
Tuesday 7th December
On Tuesday 7th December, the popular Sugarloaf Café will open its doors to host a mini Christmas market, which will run alongside the Port St Mary Town Hall Christmas Market. Festive home-made cakes, bakes and drinks will be available to takeaway and the café will be joined by a handful of lovely small Manx independent stalls.
The market will be on from 5pm till 8pm and will be full of festive fun, there may even be a visit from the budget version Sugarloaf Saint Nick!

Port St Mary Christmas Market
Tuesday 7th December
In conjunction with the Sugarloaf Café Market, there will also be a Christmas market hosted at Port St Mary Town Hall on Bay View Road from 5-8pm. Mulled wine and mince pies will be available for a donation to Graih IOM, and there will be twinkly lights and seasonal music adding to the festive atmosphere. There’s also a super selection of local food and craft stallholders to visit.
